NEW STARTERS
We use the half-term before the summer holiday to ensure that all our new reception children are familiar with their new surroundings, so that in September they can start on a full-time basis straight away.
At the first induction session parents are invited to stay and meet with Mrs Duncan over an informal cup of tea and a biscuit.
NEW STARTER INDUCTION
Your child will received a phased introduction into our school family over a period of several weeks. This will include attending an afternoon session, a morning session and a full day where they will be able to join us for a school dinner. The dates and times will be confirmed by the school once a place has been allocated to your child.
SCHOOL MEALS
Our meals are prepared on-site by Mrs Lamb, cooked fresh daily from locally sourced ingredients in line with Government strategies for healthy eating.
Currently, the price of a school meal is £2.45.
Alternatively, you can send your child with a packed lunch.

UNIFORM
Full & correct school uniform with the school logo is compulsory for all children in Reception through to Year 6 (Uniform is encouraged but optional in Nursery).
Available with logo: Sweatshirt, cardigan, PE T-shirt, PE bag, rucksack, book bag and water bottle.
Without logo: Trousers, skirts, summer dresses, coats, footwear, KS1 elasticated tie, KS2 traditional tie and all sports kit (apart from T-shirt).

MORECAMBE FOOTBALL CLUB
We have coaches from MFC in at lunchtimes. The children get the chance to play different games and sports.
SWIMMING
All children go to Lancaster University every Thursday morning during the Autumn and Summer terms. We are picked up by coach at 8.40am and return to school mid-morning.

BEFORE AND AFTER-SCHOOL CARE
Please see the Lighthouse Club page for more details on our breakfast and after school provision. We offer a Breakfast Club from 7.45am and an After School Club from 3.30pm. Both clubs run Monday to Thursday.
