Thurnham Glasson is a Church of England School with its ethos and teaching founded on Christian values and the belief that all individuals are precious in God’s sight.

Our mission statement is simply:
“To provide the very best for each member of our school family within a Christian environment, gladly working in partnership with each other, the church, with home and our community”.

Our mission statement purpose is:

  4. To provide a strong foundation for successful life-long learning.

Headteacher Rune DuncanWelcome to the website of Thurnham Glasson Christ Church CE Primary School and I hope that by using the site you will get a picture of our vision, aims and values that we uphold.

I am very proud to be the Headteacher here. We are small, caring school with a friendly atmosphere and a strong Christian ethos. We are committed to ensuring that every child in our care is given the finest educational start in life and all are encouraged to achieve their full potential. Our school motto is ‘Little School, Big Learning’ and this underpins all that we do here.

We aim to develop the whole child through our creative curriculum. Children at our school are enthusiastic, confident and independent learners, who achieve well both academically and socially.
