Welcome from the Headteacher

 

Welcome to Thurnham Glasson C of E Primary School.

 

We’re small. That’s what’s so special about us. We’ve a magical atmosphere in our church school which is hard to describe - like one big happy family.

 

Happy children need space to grow in confidence – that’s the key to any successful school.  From competing in sports teams to starring in school productions; from reading in church to speaking at conferences, opportunities are plentiful at Thurnham Glasson C of E Primary School.

Every child has a clear voice that is heard by all the teachers who are dedicated to making learning fun. We love outdoor learning and make the most of every moment in our beautiful location.

 

 

We have an excellent range of resources in school to support and enhance learning, while delicious hot meals are cooked fresh on site every day. We instill respect, trust and the value of hard work in our children.

 

We have two classes of mixed age pupils aged 3-11 and our class sizes never exceed 20.  Wrap around care is well established with before and after provision each day to support working families while providing a range of exciting activities from science experiments to crafts and arts.
